Administrative Rules of South Dakota
The Nurse Practice Act's administrative rules are promulgated by the Board with subsequent approval by the Interim Rules Review Committee of the legislature. They are intended to provide additional guidance on the codified laws enacted by the legislature. Once adopted and after a rule becomes effective, a rule has the full force and effect of law.
