About CNW
In 2002, the South Dakota Center for Nursing Workforce (CNW) was established to address nursing workforce supply, demand, recruitment, retention, educational preparation, and utilization of nurses. Associated laws: SDCL 36-9-95 and 36-9-96.
The CNW partners with stakeholders to promote strategies to address the nursing workforce and strives to ensure access to the most recent nursing data from across the state to provide a clear picture of South Dakota's nursing workforce.
